I use a strength based; person centered approach in a collaborative manner to assist my clients to see HOPE as they face challenges in life. I have worked as a counselor for over 22 years in a variety of settings. These include outpatient community mental health, crisis services, corporate/workplace settings, working with military veterans and owning and operating a private Christian counseling practice. I also have experience in training law enforcement on how to better assist individuals in a mental health crisis.
My therapeutic approach is to meet clients where they are in life and provide support and counseling to help effectively address personal challenges. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and aspire to educate people on how the use of exercise in the counseling process can positively impact mental health.
