I'm a licensed social worker and I have spent my career focusing on the parent-infant/early childhood relationship and mental health needs. A child’s most important relationship in the world is the one with their caregiver. One of my passions as a therapist is helping caregivers explore what they value, how they want to be as a parent, understand and begin to heal past wounds, find balance in work/parenting demands, and create space for more joy and connection in the relationships with their children. That joy and connection can support parents and children as they navigate stress, break generational cycles of trauma, and learn how to get through the hard things in life together. For many parents the transition into parenthood can feel especially anxiety provoking and isolating, but you don't have to navigate it on your own. I utilize a variety of evidenced based strategies, reach out today and we can explore how to best support your needs.
