I pride myself on my warm, accepting demeanor, and I strive to create a flexible, safe atmosphere that will help you better understand the difficulties you’re experiencing and incorporate solutions for meaningful, lasting change. I ventured into the helping field to understand life better and acquire the knowledge and skills to learn and relearn the appropriate tools needed to overcome life’s adversities and, most importantly, help and support people through their mental health journeys. I use a combination of client-centered therapy, mindfulness-based counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.
