I'm a Licensed Mental Health Social Worker that possess an eclectic array of disciplines starting from 1997 to 2024. I matriculated early on at Pitt Community College to obtain an Associates of Applied Science In Criminal Justice; went to North Carolina Central University to obtain a Bachelors of Social Work Degree; and a License of Special Education—Mild to Moderate Disabilities—and later to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to obtain a Master's in Social Work, with a concentration in Direct Practice and School Social Work.
I have worked in over 8 mental health and consulting firms and advocated for recipient(s) with a variety of disabilities; while advocating for fairness and equity in accordance to Federal and State mandates.
In my earlier years I worked with the state of North Carolina in the capacity of a Mental Health Correctional Officer, and the Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (DJJDP) for over seven years in many capacities.
