I studied Classics and Greek Philosophy at UT Austin during which time I discovered the writings of Carl Jung. This led me to study and analyze at the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland where I received my Diploma in Analytical Psychology in 1978. I have been working privately in Austin since April of 1978. My practice is to meet people where they are in their lives as unique individuals, addressing their issues and concerns in a dialectical manner intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. My aim is if not to solve problems, then to manage them as effectively as possible by finding a higher wider perspective on life with an eye toward maximizing self-awareness. As an analyst I make use of both conscious and unconscious material such as complexes and psychological types to include the whole person in the dialectical endeavor.
