I was born and raised in the border city of El Paso Texas. I attained my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and her Master’s in Counseling from the University of Texas at El Paso. As an adult I moved to Houston, Texas to develop her craft as a counselor.
I have 13 years’ experience working in public education with students in grades K-12th. My experience ranges from elementary teacher, school counselor, and student support counselor.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides therapy via tele-health and in person. I am a trauma informed, mindfulness, cognitive based, therapist.
Some additional training I have received are EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and Gottman Method for Couples Therapy.
I am passionate about providing a safe space for humans to work through their past hurts and disappointments. Her goal is to heal one heart at a time. As a Hispanic, bilingual counselor I take pride in being able to provide clients with Spanish or English sessions.
I am ready to join anyone on their path towards healing. The cliental I serve is children, adolescence, individuals, couples, and families. My hope is to assist people in discovering the best version of themselves. My ultimate goal is to equip them with the tools to experience the peace of today and confidently face the challenges of tomorrow.
