I was bullied a lot as a kid because I was the smallest kid in class and I had food allergies. This led to chronic people-pleasing and shyness. I also suffered from panic attacks and phobias.
My anxiety struggles improved as I got older but my remaining shyness stunted my ability to connect with women.
I discovered a very influential author named Mark Manson in my early twenties and his blog inspired me to start posting my own dating/self-development experiences online. I would discover that many people really enjoyed reading my posts and it garnered more attention than I expected.
I found it particularly fulfilling that I could help people avoid mistakes that I was making and this emboldened me to pursue a career helping people heal and accomplish their goals using clinically-proven tools.
I believe that recovery doesn't usually come in the form of a few e-books or by subscribing to a Youtube channel.
It often requires careful guidance by a trusted expert over time as you navigate emotional pain that has been locked away for months...years...or even decades.
I primarily work with young men who are struggling with mood problems and adult women who are navigating issues with an avoidant partner.
However, I am fully licensed and have expertise treating individuals, couples, and families who are suffering from a wide variety of issues.
My work is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and attachment theory.
If you choose to work with me, you can expect not just someone to vent to for 50 minutes each week but a resource and guide for skill-building that way you see measurable results…oftentimes within 5 sessions or less.
