I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor with about 10 years of clinical experience. I have a deep passion for supporting BIPOC individuals, the LGBTQ+ community, and those navigating the complexities of acculturation across generations.
I have provided social services in outpatient settings since 2014 and worked as a therapist in private practice since 2015, helping clients manage mood disorders like depression and anxiety, alongside racial, sexual orientation and gender-based issues, everyday stressors, and chronic mental health challenges. I have also worked with youth and adults in the criminal justice system, so I have some familiarity with the system and might be able to offer some insight.
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey. Therefore, my goal is to walk alongside you as you seek clarity, peace, and growth, using a variety of evidence-based techniques that empower you to learn how to process your experiences and feelings on your own - essentially working myself out of the job. However, I will still be available as needed because I recognize that as life continues to evolve, triggers and stressors can create a need for additional support... and that is a valid human experience.
I invite you to book a virtual session today so we can get your started on your journey towards feeling grounded.
