I am a licensed mental health professional (LMFT, LPCC) with an MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Mumbai University), a Master of Public Health in Public Health Practice (University of Arizona), and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis on Professional Clinical Counseling from Touro University. With over 20 years of experience across clinical care, mental health, healthcare management, research, program development, education, and training, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective to advancing healthcare delivery.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, my primary goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood. I’ll take time to get to know you—what brings you to therapy, any current concerns or challenges, and what you’re hoping to gain from our work together. We’ll explore your background at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and I may ask questions to better understand important relationships, life experiences, or patterns that might be relevant to your goals. This session is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of how I work and ask any questions you might have about the therapy process.
