Hello, I'm Darion Rose, the founder of Therapeutic Rose Counseling. With a deep-rooted passion for mental health and personal growth, I've dedicated over eight years to helping individuals navigate the complexities of their emotional well-being.
My journey began at Prairie View A&M University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology, laying the foundation for my understanding of human behavior and emotions. Continuing my education at Dallas Baptist University, I obtained my master's degree in counseling psychology, further honing my skills and expertise in providing therapeutic support.
In my practice, I specialize in addressing a wide range of mental health disorders, including but not limited to anger management, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, grief/bereavement, mood disorders, trauma, crisis intervention, attention deficit disorders, and more. I offer counseling services tailored to various settings, including individual, group, couples, family, child, and adolescent therapy.
As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, I believe in the importance of using evidence-based techniques while also incorporating a diverse range of therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. I often tell my clients, "I am not your typical therapist," as I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where individuals feel empowered to explore their emotions and overcome life's challenges.
In today's society, mental health is not just an option—it's a necessity. I recognize the significance of breaking down barriers and increasing access to mental health services, particularly within underserved communities. As a first-generation advocate for mental health, I am committed to supporting individuals on their therapeutic journey, guiding them as we process, renew, rejuvenate, replenish, and restore them to a fulfilling life.
I am here to walk alongside you on your path to healing and growth. Together, we can navigate life's obstacles and empower you to live a life filled with purpose, resilience, and well-being.
