My focus is on well-being and moving forward. I intend to build a therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe exploring complex issues and processing emotions. I use an integrated approach to therapy. This means that I combine different techniques and points of view, such as dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and solution-focused therapy, to help people overcome mental health problems and reach their fullest potential.
I have over ten years of experience working in various mental health settings.
My prior work includes leading a team that supports individuals experiencing their initial episode of psychosis; through comprehensive life skills training, mental health symptom management, and education/employment support. I also managed a team of mental health professionals who provide crisis services to individuals experiencing suicidal ideations, psychosis, or deterioration.
