My name is Debra Wright, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). I have many years of counseling experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds. Counseling is a life calling, and my mission is to serve all clients in a manner that validates their worth as human beings. I believe people have great potential, and we desire to have meaningful lives and fulfilling relationships. Due to life challenges, we sometimes lose hope and become stuck. My desire is to help you regain hope, heal, and grow. I offer a safe environment where you can just “be”. My counseling approach is collaborative, integrative and holistic. I draw from evidence-based models such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), CBT, and Eye Movement Desensitization, and Reprocessing (EMDR). Additionally, I rely on attachment theory to help clients better understand why they love, feel, and act the way they do. I also enjoy integrating Christian principles at the client’s request.
