I am a veteran of the United States Army. I served in Operation Desert Storm. My career in counseling began in 1993 with child and adolescent therapy. I enjoyed working with families so much that I became certified in family and parent education through the Nurturing Programs. Upon completion, I gained my certification in marriage and family therapy with Midtown Mental Health. Receiving so many cases for children identified by the court system as being abused or neglected due to parental substance use ultimately led to me receiving a masters of addictions certification. I am also a Department of Transportation Substance Abuse Professional. While all of these venues of being a helping professional keep me actively engaged with treating individuals, groups, and communities, my passion is with couples counseling. Being a provider for military one source has afforded me the opportunity to support couples to navigate their relationship while serving our country.
