Hi! My name is Dr. Donna Wilson Brown, Ph.D., LCSW. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. I have over 20 years of providing therapy in an empathetic, safe and nonjudgmental private practice setting, psychiatric facilities and addiction treatment programs, all while being passionate, about helping individuals, families, and couples meet their goals. I have a background in providing presentations on complex trauma focused interventions, depression, and anxiety, and I am a qualified supervisor for the State of Florida (provides supervision for other mental healthcare professionals towards licensure). I am an interventionist and provide Critical Incident Stress Debriefing in the aftermath of disaster incidents, with FEMA and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) where the focus is on building positive coping/problem solving strategies and decreasing symptoms of grief, stress, life/work balancing using CBT techniques and short-term solution-focused therapy.
