I believe that every person’s life could be a novel. Everyone is born with a set of unique experiences, gifting and personality. Therapy should utilize and capitalize on these unique qualities of each individual. Everyone experiences their own unique set of challenges and triumphs in life. However, sometimes circumstances are more than someone can deal with alone. Friends certainly do help, but certain things should be handled with a caring professional who will work to understand each person’s situation. A good therapist will help to uncover, provide feedback, and talk with each individual about solutions to life’s challenges. It is important to have a counselor who will listen emphatically and provide therapeutic guidance in a way that each person is empowered to be the best version of themselves.
