Hello! My practice offers in-person and telehealth biopsychosocial assessments and psychotherapy services in New York, Connecticut, and Puerto Rico. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, and also provide family, couples, and group therapy.
Approximately 50% of my practice is dedicated to treating individuals with anxiety disorders and OCD. I am of Puerto Rican descent and have dedicated my career to working with diverse ethnic and racial populations, as well as LGBTQ communities, in both New York and Puerto Rico. Currently, about 80% of my practice serves Latinx individuals and people of color.
I have over 20 years of specialized training and experience treating OCD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, PTSD, and related conditions. I provide individualized, evidence-based treatment using a combination of cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT), including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). In 2019, I completed the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) through the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF).
I travel regularly between New York and Puerto Rico and maintain offices in both locations. For clients in Puerto Rico seeking in-person services, I offer sessions at my Rincón office, located at Carr. 414 Km. 1.8 Int., Rincón, PR 00677.
