Hi, I’m Kelly McGhee. For many years I’ve worked in community mental health, supporting people from all walks of life, including those facing complex challenges like co-occurring disorders. Being a counselor has always been my dream, and I truly see this work as both my purpose and my passion.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Grief Counselor, with additional training as a Pet Loss Grief Support Specialist. More recently, I became certified as a Menopause Specialist so I can walk alongside women during this important stage of life and provide the most current support and resources. In sessions, I use approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, along with a range of other strategies that I tailor to each person’s needs. In the past, I also trained communities in Mental Health First Aid to help break down stigma and show the value of counseling.
Most of all, I want you to know that I understand how hard life’s challenges can feel, and you don’t have to face them alone. My goal is to offer a safe, encouraging space where you feel seen and supported as you work toward the life you want. Change is possible, healing is possible, and a fulfilling life is within reach.
