Have you spent your life trying to keep the peace, carry the emotional load, or stay “strong” no matter what? Maybe you were the black sheep in your family, the cycle-breaker, or the one who always had to hold it together. Whether you’re navigating the effects of a toxic or emotionally immature family, living with chronic gut issues, or carrying trauma from military life — you’ve been through a lot. Therapy can help you make space for your own needs and begin to heal.
I specialize in helping adults who grew up in chaotic, invalidating, or high-pressure environments whether that’s from toxic family dynamics, Queer LGBTQ+ invalidation, or military culture. My clients often struggle with people-pleasing, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, or symptoms of Complex PTSD. Many have experienced estrangement, burnout, or chronic health issues like IBS or other Disorders of Gut-Brain Interaction (DGBI).
As someone who grew up in a military family (USAF brat), I deeply understand the challenges of rootlessness, suppressed emotions, and the unspoken grief that can come with frequent transitions and high expectations. I hold military cultural competency training and specialize in working with veterans, adult children of military families, and those navigating intergenerational trauma.
I’m a licensed mental health clinician in WA, ID, and UT with advanced training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Written Exposure Therapy (WET) for PTSD and Complex PTSD. I offer a safe, collaborative, and affirming space where you can learn to respond — not react. Together, we’ll build skills to help you regulate emotions, connect with your body, and reclaim your sense of self.
