Hi, I’m Elaine Kiene, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S), with over 30 years of experience in behavioral health, I support people through some of life’s most painful, uncertain, and transformative moments. I began my career working in an inpatient psychiatric unit and have since served clients across community
mental health, addiction treatment programs, and outpatient counseling. Along the way, I’ve discovered my true calling: walking alongside individuals and couples as they reclaim their sense of self, rebuild their emotional resilience, and find clarity in the chaos.
I specialize in therapy for adults who are navigating trauma, grief, addiction,
anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. My approach is compassionate yet direct—I combine evidence-based practices like CBT, TF-CBT, MBCT, and Solution-Focused Therapy with deep listening, honest feedback, and spiritual grounding. Faith plays a central role in my life, and I bring that same sense of purpose and hope into my work. I try to create a nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. Every session is personalized to your needs, so you can feel empowered, build healthier relationships, and move forward with courage and
a renewed belief in yourself.
Beyond my credentials, I bring a deeply personal understanding to my work. As a mother of a special needs child, I know firsthand the challenges, joys, and resilience required to navigate life’s complexities. At age 24, I lost my father to suicide, an experience that profoundly shaped my empathy for those grieving complicated losses. Additionally, my family endured a traumatic event with our daughter, which has given me powerful insight into trauma and recovery.
These personal experiences fuel my commitment to walk alongside you with compassion and respect. I strive to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and empowered to heal and grow. My goal is simple: to help you rediscover your strength, find hope, and believe in yourself
again.
