I believe the client-therapist relationship is primarily a collaboration. I want to help you figure out your strengths-- ones that can enable you to overcome or manage the problems you are facing. I also believe it's important that I use evidence-based approaches in our work together. Why recreate the wheel? I have the more extensive training of a PhD and more than 20 years of experience counseling individual adults, couples, and older teens. Over the years, I've helped medical patients (those confronted with cancer, chronic pain and/or chronic illnesses). I've helped clients navigate marital or family conflict, divorce, the loss of a parent, child or partner, social isolation, and biogenetic challenges such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, major depression, and bipolar disorder. Offering support and expertise, I can help you find your way forward.
