I am a licensed mental health therapist with over 17 years of solid clinical experience helping adults who have been impacted by traumatic events, chronic illness, life transitions and grief/loss. I specialize in C-PTSD, post-traumatic growth (which may include issues around identity, boundaries, interpersonal relationships and self-worth to name a few), living with chronic illness and grief/loss/life transitions. In addition to this specialization, I have experience with short-term, solution focused intervention. Research shows that the relationship you have with your therapist is the single most important factor in therapy outcomes. My style is interactive and direct with lots of humor, compassion and commonsense added to the mix. I strive to create a warm, authentic partnership where people feel safe to explore and address the challenges they face.
