As a client centered therapist, I use storytelling and narrative therapy to harness and highlight your strengths. Our work together is collaborative, engaging you in cognitive processing and motivational interviewing to address parts of yourself impacted by trauma and stuck in repetitive story loops.
During our sessions, you will gain and practice new skills to reduce and manage shame, guilt, anxiety, and grief. Success is achieved when we establish a trusting and supportive space, and you gain confidence in using new skills to consistently engage in more functional behaviors, ultimately feeling a deeply centered sense of self and personal capacity.
I specialize in supporting young professionals in their mid-30s and older who are navigating challenges related to depression, anxiety, family roles, and life and relationship transitions.
Together, we work on shifting behaviors rooted in trauma or maladaptive patterns from the family of origin, culture, and community.
