I am a first-generation American of Vietnamese descent, and my mother was a Vietnam War boat refugee. They arrived in America without knowledge of the English language, but through humility, perseverance, and a strong work ethic, they raised a family of 12 children with the same values. I am passionate about helping others as I know that it takes a community to overcome challenges.
My journey as a clinical social worker started in hospice where I walked with patients and their families through some of the most difficult periods of their lives. I worked with people of all ages and backgrounds. My ability to comfort, encourage, and remain authentic was necessary for supporting all the challenges that come with loss. I have worked with individuals who struggle with trauma, suicidal thoughts, substance use, depression, relationship issues, and anxiety.
You're the architect of your story, and I'm here to help you become the best version of yourself.
