Working within mental health the last 7+ years of my life has been very rewarding. Prior to this, I was a corporate consultant and felt aloof from the military veteran population I was serving. I quit and enrolled in Columbia University’s Social Work Program. A native New Yorker, I enjoyed the opportunities Columbia afforded me to work with people struggling with trauma, substance use, relationship/marital issues, general anxiety and depression, grief and loss. My approach to therapy is that everyone is on their own journey and I feel honored to walk alongside them, providing minimal guidance as they seek better versions of themselves. Rather than offering advice, I like to motivate and empower people to make changes that are more sustainable in the long-term. Change is difficult, I myself have experienced many changes including extreme grief and loss, relationships issues, and am grateful to have had the help to work through it – I hope I can help you do same!
