About Me
I am a mother of two teenagers, 15 and 17year-old. One of them is neurotypical and the other is on the Autistic Spectrum. Luke has influenced my therapy significantly over the years, primarily making sure all of my clients are treated with dignity and respect. All of my sessions are based on my client, nonjudgmental, and compassion/empathy. My approach is based on appreciating and their strengths, both hidden and obvious. My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable to explore your vulnerabilities and celebrate your achievements. I rely heavily on fundamentals of CBT and DBT therapy during my session. We will practice skills within the session, assign them for “homework”, and then revisit them in upcoming sessions to determine their usefulness for you. I am passionate about my work, and I often say I learn as much from you as you will from me. I value each client's time and do my best to make sure each session is useful and practical.
