I knew I wanted to be a therapist at the age 12 years old when my brother had a psychotic break and the doctors could not figure out what was wrong with him. (It was bipolar disorder.) Although I did not follow this desire initially, there came a point where I could do nothing else but follow this dream.
Clients who get the most out of therapy with me are those who consistently use the worksheets provided to address specific issues they are seeking to impact. It has been my privilege to see them transform from angry, depressed, unemployed, anxious, and unmotivated individuals to confident, happy, calmer, and fully-functioning working individuals.
I focus on Mindfulness in combination with other treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Person-centered Therapy. I approach each client as an individual and tailor my therapy to their needs.
