My name is Jackie Holmes. I am a licensed therapist in Bakersfield, CA. For the past 13 years, I have worked in a variety of settings including schools, intensive outpatient therapy, private practice, and group settings. I have experience working with individuals who have concerns with anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, relationship concerns, and trauma. I use evidenced based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Mindfulness. I enjoy working with clients of all ages. I am friendly, open-minded, nonjudgmental, empathetic, and interactive. I try to help you discover your strengths, help establish goals, then work with you to attain them. I think it is important to develop a plan together. I believe you will find me easy to talk to. I am casual in my style, but determined and focused when it comes to our work together.
