I strive for my clients to get something out of every session. I have a very conversational style and I want you to feel motivated to come to sessions because we can have fun and laugh as well as work on the hard stuff. I think your success in therapy will also mean finding some solid goals for yourself, such as using new ways of thinking or finding skills that you can practice. I have seen clients of all ages and from many different walks of life, and I love being able to find stuff in common with everyone. If you want to feel better, that is a great place for us to start the conversation.
I'm trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, The Gottman Method Couple's Counseling, Divorce Mediation, and I have recently been studying Internal Family Systems. I love philosophy and learning about how our minds work. I think learning about you and the way your mind works is the key to figuring out how we can make life work for you.
