I have been a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD) since 2012. Currently, I am offering individual therapy services through a fully virtual remote practice for clients in Florida and Puerto Rico. I have a flexible work schedule that allows you to choose daytime or afternoon appointments, depending on availability. I am a professional who values responsibility, punctuality, and communication. My philosophy has always been to work toward a better future, as it is a wise decision. My primary language is Spanish, and it’s the language I prefer to offer my services in; however, English-speaking clients are always welcome.
My therapeutic approach begins with the client’s self-knowledge and understanding of their cultural background. I frequently use the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) model, and I enjoy integrating strategies from other therapeutic models, such as Gestalt, Narrative Therapy, and other tools, such as genograms, that specifically support the client’s established therapy goals and/or needs. My goal is for clients to feel that the therapy space is a safe one—where genuineness, acceptance, and respect are valued. Although the reason that brings someone to therapy may be a difficult one, I strive for them to experience it as an opportunity for self-care and positivity.
