In my work as a therapist I have focused on helping adults cope with anxiety, depression, and managing through times of life transition. I often find it most helpful to work as a team with my client to find solutions that will help pave the way to an improved quality of life. I use cognitive behavioral and strengths based treatment perspectives, and seek to help people identify their own strengths, finding ways to use them. Through the process of self-reflection, facilitated by a therapist, people become reacquainted with their own skills, strengths and priorities, so that they can effectively employ these. I also see therapy as a way to find healing and as a learning and personal growth process.
