I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, born and raised in Dallas, TX and earned my master’s in counseling with specialized studies in Expressive and Creative Art Therapies at Southern Methodist University. This formal education has prepared me to counsel a diverse range of individuals from pre-adolescents (ages 8+) to adult populations using a wide range of creative interventions paired with traditional, research-based approaches and talk therapy.
In my approach to counseling, I maintain a client-centered focus that mirrors my value for the uniqueness of the individual. Inspired by my yoga practice and teaching, I aim to view my clients through a holistic lens that considers many facets of a person and their environment when conceptualizing problems, setting goals, or considering diagnosis. I am is passionate about connecting with her clients by meeting them where they are and creating a non-judgmental space for self-expression and healing. It is my hope that you feel safe, seen, and accepted despite your situation when working with me. I strive to model seeing my clients authentically with the intention that they, in turn, come to see and accept themselves more deeply. I hope to both walk alongside you in your growth journey while also championing your ability to bring about desired change in your own life when given the proper tools.
