I believe in meeting clients where they are, fostering a collaborative approach to address their unique challenges, and working together to help them achieve their goals. With years of experience, I have worked with individuals navigating issues such as anxiety, depressive symptoms, self-esteem/self-worth concerns, work-related stress, relationship conflicts, mood disorders, addiction, medical trauma, chronic illness, and chronic pain. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis, and my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California. My therapeutic practice is grounded in a trauma-informed care model, which recognizes that everyone experiences some form of trauma throughout their lives. I focus on clients' strengths and resilience to help them overcome obstacles and thrive. Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English, I have a deep understanding of various cultural backgrounds, including Christian, Buddhist, and Mormon religious practices, as well as the influence of Asian immigrant culture and upbringing. My diverse cultural knowledge allows me to offer a compassionate and holistic approach to therapy, meeting clients where they are, both emotionally and culturally.
