I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) located in Southwestern Pennsylvania. As a late bloomer, I obtained my Masters in Professional Counseling from Carlow University following my daughter’s high school graduation. My counseling approach is integrative with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) combined with dialectical behavioral and solution focused therapeutic methods and techniques. The basic concept is that we are presented with situations in life and our response consists of thoughts, emotions and behaviors which lead to an outcome. In the therapeutic relationship, we develop customized methods and techniques in talk therapy that can offer an alternative perspective toward an improved outcome and overall wellness and personal well-being unique to your circumstances and life situation.
