I am a seasoned psychotherapist who provides initial diagnostic assessments, goal and treatment planning, as well as a variety of evidence-based practices based off the individuals’ needs. I have over 5 years experience working with a large variety of backgrounds. Before becoming a therapist I worked with adults with autism and other developmental disabilities for over 8 years. This gave me a great understanding on how to work with this population utilizing psychotherapy skills, ways I could support families and how to integrate behavior model into treatment. I am well versed in prescriptive psychotherapy where treatment is not a one-size-fits-all model, since people are more complex and intricate than meets the eye. Some examples of psychotherapy models I incorporate in treatment but not all are CBT, solution focused therapy, DBT, person centered.
