Hello! My name is Kira (she/her), and I have been practicing therapy in the greater Boston area for the past decade, predominantly with marginalized communities. My clinical journey has taken me from residential programs to urgent-care response, traditional individual therapy, and even time spent providing education for municipal health departments. While my journey has been unconventional, it has exposed me to many different aspects of mental health and behavioral wellness. For that reason, I sometimes refer to myself as a "therapist of all trades!" While my primary specialty is in complex trauma and substance dependency, I have also worked with anxiety, depression, Bipolar I/II, chronic psychosis, personality disorders, chronic pain/illness, gender/racial/sexual identity, and more. I'm happy to work with both adolescents and adults from all backgrounds in a safe, trauma-informed space, and am invested in creating an active and collaborative relationship with all my clients!
