My name is Kristen and I'm a licensed mental health therapist who came to the field after working as a holistic health coach, behavior therapist, and entrepreneur, hoping to help people make life changes in more lasting ways. I have been working in the field for 7 years, and in people-oriented fields for 20+ years. I was influenced by my own experiences in therapy to start the journey as a counselor, and a major focus in my work has been anxiety management, holistic modalities of treating mental and emotional health, preventing burnout, trauma, and reducing stress. My perspective on therapy involves an eclectic view to customize treatment to meet each client’s individual needs, and help folks create more meaning in their lives. I enjoy the challenges my profession offers along with meeting new people. My hobbies include spending time with my family and dog Brahmy, gardening, cultural festivals and dances, and reading.
