I am a LCSW with over 25 years of professional experience. My philosophy is that every obstacle is an opportunity to grow and learn; and that pain can be an invitation to make empowering decisions as well as bring changes to create fulfillment in life. My goal is to provide a positive therapeutic experience in a safe environment that will facilitate healing, well-being, and personal growth. I have worked with diverse cultures in community based social services and hospital organizations. I use evidenced-based practices and incorporate mind-body healing treatment modalities for anxiety, depression, life transitions, low self-esteem, grief/loss and trauma issues. My focus is on the whole person, taking into account individual differences, experiences and strengths. Together we work to move in a new direction in your life to facilitate change and personal growth. In my free time I enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. I may be riding my bike, casually walking my dog or cooking up a new recipe with tasty seasoning.
