I believe in the ability of individuals to find true meaning in their existence and not just in living life. I left a thriving beauty supply business after almost 10 years to find my passion for this reason, which led me to the field of counseling. I believe my own personal challenges contributed to being in this field, as they have provided me with the opportunity to become more empathetic to the struggles of others. I've also had the privilege of working in both outpatient and inpatient settings, helping individuals dealing with various mental health challenges. I find this field particularly rewarding based on the feedback I get from my clients at the end of therapy. In addition to my degree in counseling, I specialize in working with clients dealing with trauma and I am able to counsel from a faith-based perspective without judgment.
