Therapist-LSCW I am a strengths-based, client-centered, and mindfulness-based psychotherapist who understands that stress, anxiety, and depression are painful experiences that can result from life transitions, relationship struggles, social conflicts, or feeling overwhelmed by the world around you. You may be tired of living your life on autopilot and reached a point where you are ready to make changes. I can help you move toward a more satisfying life through developing more self-awareness and self- compassion toward a more satisfying life. I believe in empowering a person to take control of their life and work on issues that may be adversely affecting them. Unresolved issues, balancing work and life, and new challenges provide the opportunity to heal and live a life of thriving not just surviving. My treatment method is based on the assumption that you are the expert of you! I value learning about who you are, what is important to you, and what changes you want to see in your life. We work together to tailor interventions to build on your ability to feel empowered and in charge of your life and mental health in an authentic way to help deal with the many facets and challenges life may bring. I provide an open, safe, and non-judgmental space to voice your thoughts, emotions, or fears. It’s my passion and privilege to help people develop practical strategies for greater fulfillment, purpose, and balance as you navigate through the many stages of life. With over 20 years’ experience in a private university and teaching hospital, I am trained in several modalities working with individuals across all backgrounds. I also hold a Professional Certified Coach Credential (PCC) from the International Coach Federation (ICF), Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), and graduate university instructor. I look forward to working with you!
