My philosophy is that therapy is dynamic, collaborative and always needs to be tailored to the unique needs of the individual. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. I believe we do the best we can at any given moment with the skills, coping, and adaptive responses we can access. In supporting clients to meet their goals and improve their functioning, practical skills are often needed in addition to self-reflection and insight. I utilize various evidence based approaches to support each individual. My specializations include working with clients who suffer from issues related to anxiety, depression, PTSD, life transitions, identity development, gender exploration as well as working with the LGBTQIA+ community. Witnessing clients celebrate their own successes and celebrating with them is the most rewarding experience for me as a therapist. Open to working with adolescents ages 12 and older.
