I have been living in Orange County since 2009, but I grew up in Bakersfield, California. I knew I wanted to be a therapist since senior year in high school. I wanted a career that helped people transform their lives for the better. I take an action-oriented approach using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions to enhance self-awareness, expression, and acceptance. I have experience treating anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem issues/assertiveness, grief and loss, substance use, and trauma. In addition, I am EMDR trained. I have been utilizing EMDR since 2013 to help people overcome their trauma.
