I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist with more than 30 years of experience in different cultural settings. I work with adults wanting to overcome past or recent trauma, struggling with mental health issues, and with cultural, relationship, work or other adjustments and issues. As a Latin married to an Anglo I have particular expertise in helping mixed marriage couples. I am an active participant in your journey utilizing my skills in diverse modalities including EMDR and Internal Family Systems among others. I do believe in our brains’s ability to heal past wounds and create a brighter future, as well as in the value of the therapeutic alliance to attain so. I am also sensitive to our family legacies, and scripts, and our unconscious loyalty to them. I feel privileged to be in my client’s lives as they embark in a difficult but gratifying journey of self discovery and healing through therapy.
