I am a licensed professional counselor with over 25 yrs. varied experience in the behavioral health field as an individual and group therapist. My interest is in helping clients with mood/anxiety, relationship and stress related disorders.
My greatest satisfaction and passion are in helping others to find a better way to live their journey with increased senses of joy, peace and purpose. I practice from a person-centered, holistic model as well as employing cognitive behavioral principles and strategies to achieve improvement and lasting change.
Clients and I work collaboratively to create change in a safe and accepting environment, understanding and realizing it happens one step at a time. Minimum age of 18 and up is only requirement to be seen. One of my other niches in the field is health and wellness and I see this as vital to a client's overall wellbeing. This includes lifestyle health issues such as smoking, weight and physical activity goals as well as disease management.
