Who I AM: As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I specialize in working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families to address a wide range of mental health concerns. My practice supports individuals navigating life transitions, engaging in self-exploration, or managing the everyday challenges that come with balancing responsibilities and relationships. I have extensive experience helping clients work through anxiety, depression, eating disorders, postpartum concerns, family stress, and relational difficulties. My approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs, drawing from various therapeutic modalities to create a personalized, goal-oriented path toward healing. At the core of my philosophy is the belief that every individual possesses the strength and capacity to create meaningful change. My role is to guide and support you in that process, helping you move toward greater balance, emotional well-being, and a more fulfilling life. Our first session expectations: Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and I want you to know that our first session is designed to help you feel comfortable, supported, and heard. In our initial meeting, we’ll spend time getting to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’ve been facing, and the goals or changes you hope to achieve. You don’t need to have all the answers or know exactly what you want to work on — we’ll figure that out together. I’ll also ask questions about your history, relationships, and current life circumstances so I can better understand your unique story. At the same time, I’ll explain how I work as a therapist and answer any questions you may have about the therapy process. My Greatest Strengths as a Therapist What clients often notice first about my approach is the balance of compassion and clinical expertise I bring into the therapy room. I specialize in supporting individuals and families through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and perinatal and postpartum mental health. This specialized training allows me to provide both evidence-based strategies and a deep understanding of the unique struggles that can arise during these times. I am deeply passionate about the field of psychology and feel fortunate to do work that I truly care about. My strength lies in creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. I tailor each session to meet your individual needs, blending different therapeutic approaches to ensure the work we do together is both personalized and effective. Clients often share that what stands out in our work is the sense of hope, clarity, and relief they gain — not only from understanding themselves better, but also from developing concrete tools to move forward. My goal is always to empower you to rediscover your strengths, build resilience, and create lasting change in your life. Who I Work Best With I am most effective in working with clients who are ready to take steps toward change, even if they’re unsure what that path will look like yet. My ideal clients are children, teens, adults, or families who may be navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, perinatal or postpartum mental health concerns, or relational stress. The clients I connect with most are those who are motivated for support and open to exploring new ways of coping, relating, and growing. You don’t need to have everything figured out — you simply need a willingness to engage in the process. Together, we’ll identify your goals and create a plan that feels both realistic and hopeful, moving you toward greater balance and emotional well-being.
