I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist in the state of Florida, Minnesota and the District of Columbia. I am a culturally competent and trauma informed psychotherapist with experienced work with various client populations from the persistent mentally ill to individuals needing brief solution focused interventions. I also specialize in adolescent and childhood mental health needs and am very passionate about family therapy work. I obtained a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. I have worked as a licensed therapist for 8 years in outpatient settings mostly. As a trained EMDR therapist I enjoy helping patients work through and build coping skills for dealing with trauma. I use my PCIT training to help families with toddler age children overcome difficult behaviors such as defiance and tantrums. In my free time I enjoy exploring the culinary arts and spending time with my family and my cat Blueberry.
