I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been in practice for over 35 years working with individuals (child, youth, and adults), couples (as couples and as parents), and families. My education includes a Masters of Arts degree in Psychology from Antioch University Seattle received in 1987 and many other forms of counseling professional education (see below). I am a Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor in the Washington Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists. I am guided by the codes of conduct of the AAMFT, the American Psychological Association, and the American Counseling Association and in addition, I am bound by the Washington State codes of practice. Your view on what we do in our time together is very important to me. We will explore the issues that are bringing you into counseling and I will often make suggestions and provide guidance but always collaborative and facilitative with you.
