My name is Matthew Gilbert and I am a licensed individual, couple/marriage, and family therapist. For the past 20 years, I have provided effective psychotherapy support in the public and private sectors. I enjoy caring for clients of all ages and diverse backgrounds. I am trained primarily as a systemic solution-focused therapist and have additional advanced training in trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy (T-CBT) and anger management therapy. I utilize a wide range of therapeutic modalities specific to each client. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Master of Science in Marriage & Family Therapy at Pacific Lutheran University. I am from the Midwest and relocated to the Pacific Northwest to complete an advanced degree and establish my private practice. My core philosophy is working with my clients to coauthor effective treatment outcomes.
