My name is Melina D Pinto, I am a single Hispanic female. I have worked in mental health for over 15 years. I have worked with clients with chronic illness such as schizophrenia and mood disorders. I worked in inpatient and outpatient treatment programs. I also worked as an intake and community therapist for a DMH approved agency where I worked with children starting 5 years and as elderly as 90+. I also worked with domestic violence victims and batters, perform anger management and batters groups for court mandated participants; I have experience working with substance abuse individuals. I have 7 years of experience working with especial needs such as: intellectual disability and autism. Furthermore, I worked in a community clinic working with low social economic conditions as well as being homeless at times and 70% of my client’s dealing with feelings of uncertainty with their sexual orientation and or dealing with sexual dysphoria.
