I have been practicing for over 18 years as an LMFT. I have transitioned to a multifaceted approach incorporating a Psychodynamic modality with EMDR, Performance Psychology, Somatic Experiencing, and Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy (HCH).
This integrated approach is a much deeper process of psychotherapy and is achieved through a relaxed state of consciousness and embraces the concept of self-determination.
These experiential therapies identify core feelings, overcome limiting beliefs, interrupt unhealthy behavioral patterns, and increase self-awareness by discovering, leaning in, and moving through. Individuals experience visceral reactions in the body in which we work to release those energetic charges of emotions trapped within the body.
How our body feels impacts our emotions. Emotions are physical and we can be unaware of how our body is storing stress and trauma.
