I was born to a Caucasian mother and an African American father. I married into a Mexican American family. I had my first child at 15 and a master’s degree at 24. Why do I share all of this up front? Because I see life through many different angles. And it’s beautiful!!
But it doesn’t always feel that way. The feelings of loneliness, confusion, shame and sadness are part of the human experience. Relationships are messy. But the biggest battle we face is often the one within ourselves.
My goal for you in therapy is for you to gain the skills and support you need to maximize your ability to manage whatever has brought you to this moment. I will walk alongside you whether it be a few encounters; or more. You deserve to be heard and seen regardless of your current situation. I’d be privileged to join you in this journey.
Open to working with adolescents ages 17 and up. Open to supporting caregivers of children.
